Meet Arifa!

Hey everyone! Today, I would like to introduce Arifa Brookins Hinton, our Student Life Section Editor! Arifa was on the staff last year as a photographer. Arifa will be a junior this fall and she is an Art major. She enjoys baking, cooking, photography, shopping, and helping those in need. Arifa joined the Milestone because a yearbook is a book of memories and tells stories of your life during college.  Arifa wants to be a part of telling those stories.

As the Student Life Section Editor this year, Arifa will be in charge of the spreads that cover the major events of Hope College. The Student Life Section is the section that contains all of the photos and stories of the proud Hope traditions and annual events; events like the Pull, Nykerk, Dance Marathon, Chapel, the Dew Crew, and Spring Fling. Event that are so ingrained into our lives at Hope we just couldn’t imagine what the year would be like without them. We think that Arifa will be great at this position!
